Akmel's Promotion

We are so proud of Akmel. Another bank grand opening under his belt. This time as the branch manager. These pictures are from early December but I did not want to go without mentioning the special day. Thanks to all the family members who gave their support on this very special day.

Never too Young for Chores

I love that I can stay home during the day with Bellie and play. It's not all fun and games though. I have already assigned her some chores on a weekly basis. She's really good at folding laundry and she always seems to have a lot of fun in the process.

Clothing for Sale

Akmel and I are amazed at how quickly Isabella is growing! Every day I am taking new things from her wardrobe, taking the tags off & washing them only to find out the outfit does not fit anymore. This particular outfit is one of my favorites. Our cousin Johanna bought it for her and Bella only wore it once. Shucks!

Rub a dub dub...

Just like her mommy...Bella loves a good rub and daddy does it best! Here are a few pictures that demonstrate how she feels when she is getting some extra attention from daddy.

Isabella meets friends

I took Bella to her room recently and thought it would be a good time to introduce her to OliOsc, R.Ann and the other animals. There was excitement in the air because the friends have been waiting for this moment for 5 months. Isabella warmed the room with her smile. Everyone enjoyed playing together for the first time. I caught the moment on camera and thought I should share it.

Oatmeal and Bella

I have not had a lot of luck feeding Isabella rice cereal. I decided to try the oatmeal and it seems to be working much better. She gets so excited that she ends up bumping me and it does not all end up in her mouth. I love this baby stage. She is learning something new everyday.

Happy Birthday to Us.

My birthday was extra special because I was able to share it not only with Akmel but Our Bella too. Isabella turned 5 months old on Saturday so we celebrated together. We took the day to just be together. In the evening my parents spent time with Isy while Akmel and I continued celebrating at a concert .
