Isabella's First Parade

Naples Zoo

This was Isabella's first trip to a zoo. I will remember again how absolutely hot it was on this day and how Bella wanted to just play in the play area. She was not too interested in all the animals. Akmel however, was very interested and did a fabulous job with his attempts at teaching and showing Isabella about all the zoo animals. As a side note, don't go to a Florida Zoo in the middle of summer. Even the animals know its too stinking hot to do anything but sleep.

Isabella and I tagged along on one of Akmel's work trips this summer to Naples. It was a fabulous trip. If you have never been to southwest Florida you should take the time to do it. It's a perfect spot to slow down and relax.

Ice Cream Sandwich

There's something about watching Bella eat sweets that makes me want to capture it on film. She is full of expression when she enjoys eating something. Oh, how I love her!

Parent's Night Out

Akmel and I didn't get to go to Roy's this past year for our anniversary. We took the opportunity to spend an evening at our favorite Hawaiian Restaurant one summer evening after spending the day at the beach with the girls. I matched Jessa and Bella in the same outfit and they were loving it. It was a nice memory. I love to get it on film.

Isabella's New Chalkboard

Local Wine Festival

Our local winery hosts several festivals a year. We attended one this summer and it was SO hot! Luckily they thought of everything, including an outdoor room to cool off. We spent a lot of time in there. But geez! It was hot! The wine is so good, it was worth the visit.

Isabella's New Converse

We bought Bella new converse and she was so excited to get home and put them on. Unfortunately we bought her Sketchers soon after and now she doesn't want to wear her star shoes. Her adored cousin Maverick has Sketchers and told her about them on his last visit. Need I say more?
