Introduction

Thank you all for being here today to share and to witness a very important occasion. Today is a special day for our daughter, Isabella. Today is a special day for my wife and I.
Our families and friends are present. We are happy to see Isabella’s grandparents, uncles, aunt, and our dear friends.

Letter to Bella

Isabella Joanna Ramirez, you were born on August 21st, 2005, nine months ago today. Even before your birth your mother and I made many plans for you, we pondered complex and simple thoughts about you, we created dreams and aspirations for you. Your mother and I talked about how you were going to look; whether you would have straight hair or curly hair; whether you would look like your mother or like me; what color eyes you would have; and much, much more was said. Now that you are with us and we are a family, we realize that no matter what attributes we tried to picture or explain we fell short of truly describing you. You are a beautiful, perfect gift from god. We feel so lucky, so happy, and so blessed to have you in our lives. We absolutely love and adore you.
We want you to know we are going to raise you in a loving, happy, Christian household. A household that prays together, goes to church together, and a household that worships together. We ask God to protect you, to watch over you, and to be with you. We ask God for His guidance and wisdom. That He lead us when we need it most. We will do our best to be good parents. Our love for you will never cease to exist. May God bless you.

Another Fun Day

We celebrated Aunt Yahiliz's birthday at Cheesecake Factory, Mallenia Mall. Isabella loves to shop and look at everything. Here are a few snapshots of the day.

Isabella Let Go

Very soon after Isabella started pulling herself up onto things, she started to let go. Always with a camera on hand, I captured one of the very first times she let go. Hopefully it is not too dark and you can see it.

Isabella likes to have her blanket by her side while she is sleeping. This is a trait she got from my side of the family. You will also find her thumb in her mouth if she can't find her pacifier. That's also from this side of the family.
