Here is Isabella's friend Olivia. I am very excited that we have neighbors who had a little girl soon after we did so Bella has a friend already.

Easter Morning

Isabella started her Easter Morning with The Ramirez Family. We had a nice brunch together. Here are a couple of the pictures.

Where is the Easter Bunny?

We had such a difficult time finding the right Easter Bunny for Bella. We visited the mall closest to home and discovered that Akmel and I are Easter Bunny Snobs. This bunny was not the right one for our Bella. We had to stop and eat so we only had time to go to one more mall and unfortunatley that Bunny was not much better. One of the bunny helpers even mentioned that I needed to be careful because the bunny could not hold Bella all that well. Oh my goodness! What happened to the Easter Bunny? Next year I plan to ask around and scout for the perfect bunny for Bella. We did get her picture taken and she looks so happy. She kept turning around and looking at him. She wanted to pull on his bow and his whiskers so I had to sit her at the edge of his knee so she could not reach him. Here she is after the picture and you can kinda see the bunny in the background.

Spring brings changes

Both our parents have their houses up for sale. Although it is an exciting time, it is also sad that things have to change. I took a picture of Isabella with Mami and Papi the day their house went up for sale. We will always have the memories.

Isabella and OliOsc

Isabella and her Cousin Maverick have the same bear. They have special significance to me because yy mom and I bought these bears while Maverick was being born. My mom named both the bears. OliOsc is after my sister's dogs, Oliver and Oscar. Here is Isabella playing with her bear.

Crib Changes

The time has come to move Isabella's crib down one level. She learned to pull herself up and was having loads of fun. Here are some pictures I captured before the move.

This is a first...

Isabella is an early morning riser. I was up on this particular day at 5am. I kept her busy crawling and playing so I guess I really tired her out! I was still surprised when Bella fell asleep after breakfast in her highchair. Akmel had not left for work yet and we both got a kick out of it.

Isabella's crawling

It took her about a week to perfect her crawl but now she's got it down and she's on the move. We are going to have a hard time keeping up as she continues to explore.

I am a lion I roar all day...

Grandma bought Isabella a musical lion for Christmas. She likes to hear him roar. There are day and nighttime songs. Each tune is catchy. If you come by you might end up singing, "I am a lion, I roar all day. I bounce up and down that's how I play..." Thanks Grandma for lion and thanks Glo for the yellow outfit to match.
