Friendly Visit

Gloria, my long time forever friend, came in for a quick visit with her family. Here is a picture of Chrissy (Gloria's sister) playing with Bella and the two sister's sharing a moment with Bella.

Hanging Out Together

OK, Akmel was not gone that long but I started thinking about our family reunion. How would he be able to hug Isabella if she was in her car seat? Hmmm...so I decided to surprise him in the airport. I text messaged him asking if he would bring me a coffee before he left the airport. That way I knew he would not miss us in the crowd. We saw each other right away. How sweet to be together again. We ended up waitiing for the luggage almost an hour. Time for us to catch up. Here's a couple of pictures while waiting for the bags.

Welcome Home!

Bella and I picked up Akmel after an out of town work trip. It was so cute to watch as she recognized her daddy. Here's the moment on camera.

"HiYa"

Bella loves to talk. She talks in the car, at home, out to lunch...talk, talk, talk. Most of it is language all her own. She greets you with "HiYa", Bella talk for Hello. Oh my goodness, I just can't get enough of her.

Thanks Uncle D

My younger brother, Christopher bought an educational toy for Bella. She really loves it. Here she is working with her new toy.

Trouble with Memory Stick

One of our memory sticks is giving me a bundle of trouble. I have tried everything to get them uploaded onto the computer so now it's up to my expert husband to help me get the missing photos on the blog. I hope to have them posted soon. Stay tuned.

Just Right for a Nap

I thought I would share with everyone Isabella's favorite sleeping position.

Isabella's 2nd Haircut

Here is Bella after her second haircut. Isn't she cute? This time it was just her and I and she was perfect throughout the whole thing. She just sat facing me and playing with a brush. Thanks Katina for doing such a wonderful job.

We Will Miss You!

Thank you so very much Auntie Claire and Mr.Mav for your help. We miss you already and can not wait to celebrate the holidays together.

Up in a Perpel

The morning Maverick and Claire left, he looked up in the sky and pointed to the airplane(aka:perpel).

Babies & Books

Maverick's Learning to Share

Mr. Mav spends a lot of time with mommy so spending time with Bella was a lot different. He did not like when Bella would place toys in her mouth. He would point and say nooo. Bella just smiled and thought it was funny. It's really neat to watch them learning social skills.

It's play time!

Bye, Bye Baby...

Our little baby is not a baby anymore. We enjoy each and every second with our Bella and really look forward to watching her move into toddlerhood.

Hooray! Maverick's Here!

My sister and Maverick flew in for Isabella's birthday celebration. It's just the best thing to have my sister and her baby here. Here's Mr.Mav playing with his new tractor from Akmel's parent's. He's so smart. He would place all the animals in the tractor and then he would sit and drive the tractor with one finger steering the wheel. How many one year olds can do that?

Making Music

Isabella's Abuelitos bought her a beautiful red piano. Thank you.

Presents Galore

Bella was more interested in socializing than opening all her gifts. That's OK. I had a number of other children that volunteered to help.

Happy Birthday to You!

Bella was a trooper through the whole cake process. We learned that she did not like the sugar treat so very well. We attempted on her birthday and again at the birthday party. She may not have liked that it was all sticky in her hands. She did enjoy everyone singing her birthday song.

Isabella's 1st Birthday

Bella's first birthday party was a success. We are thankful to have so many friends and family who came and celebrated our baby girl. I also want to give a very special thanks to Miss Lisa and Jessica for all your help before the party. You are my angel Lisa. By the way, that's Akmel holding the pinata.

No Way Out!

Bella loves to get herself into tight spots. Her bottle cabinet was no exception. Here she is practicing her skills. She can get in but could not find her way out so Mommy had to go in and rescue her. I love being her hero.

All Around Fun

Daddy and Bella sharing time together. Hmmm...who's having more fun?

I'm ready for the professionals!

We took family pictures in honor of Isabella's first birthday. Here she is getting ready for the big photo shoot. Once we got there she did not take very well to the photographer. If you have not recieved your family photo yet watch the mail. They should be in the post soon.
